Unstable
In my quest for a complete file manager for iPad I purchased Files Connect. There is much to like here, particularly the ability to automatically connect to my Mac and a Windows notebook. The feature set is quite complete and it can easily handle most file chores. Setting up Dropbox, WebDav, and FTP support was simple, and the interface is fairly intuitive.
All of this however is hampered by a lack of stability. Within all of twenty minutes I was able to crash the program six times. I also found issues with the document folder not updating after a completed download, and the screen repainting improperly. For the price of this app, I would expect a rock solid program, yet what I found was an app in dire need of a maintenance release, and one I would seriously hesitate to rely on.
I hope a new release is in the works, as it has a lot of potential and coils easily handle my needs if it was solid.
