Pros and cons of Files Connect app for iPhone and iPad

Files Connect app good for

Application amazing and with a very fast response, congratulations! Aplicativo incrível e com resposta muito rápida, parabéns!
Files Connect is the best app I tested for remote file access - autodiscovered and connected to Apple Time Capsule in LAN via SMB or AFP - Remote connections via NAT work just fine - connection to WebDAV is easy - you can slide through images (Netportal Lite cannot do this, yet) Nevertheless there are still some issues left: - support multitasking: remember last opened folder and reconnect/ reopen when app is restored from background - decrease battery usage when in Background - improve loading time of files esp. jpg-images (Netportal Lite is about twice as fast) - Fix bug: port of SMB connection cannot be specified - Make folders bookmarkable If these are fixed "Files Connect" gets 5 stars as it makes the iPad a perfect Desktop replacement
One of the most useful apps for iOS! Please make updates for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus!
Ui is great, very easy to use. share a folder on windows or osx and this app will autodiscover, no need to add servers by ip address. Exactly what I wanted. Has not crashed for me, and lets me stream video directly from the shared folders.
Nice App, but lacks integrated codecs and ability to open files on Mac (helpfull to open movies). Also would be nice to see iPhoto library support (to make possible to watch photos from it)
The password on startup should be numeric with numeric pad. Its little hard to enter with full keyboard and then press enter. Thanks

Some bad moments

The app closes all the time. In special using "Open In" option.
...unfortunately does not work. my most important feature...
In my quest for a complete file manager for iPad I purchased Files Connect. There is much to like here, particularly the ability to automatically connect to my Mac and a Windows notebook. The feature set is quite complete and it can easily handle most file chores. Setting up Dropbox, WebDav, and FTP support was simple, and the interface is fairly intuitive. All of this however is hampered by a lack of stability. Within all of twenty minutes I was able to crash the program six times. I also found issues with the document folder not updating after a completed download, and the screen repainting improperly. For the price of this app, I would expect a rock solid program, yet what I found was an app in dire need of a maintenance release, and one I would seriously hesitate to rely on. I hope a new release is in the works, as it has a lot of potential and coils easily handle my needs if it was solid.
I expected more from this app. I could not establish a successful connection using afp & sftp.
I bought this to connect to network AFP volumes. Sure, it can connect, and I can see the top level folders on the volume; but every sub-folder I try to view results in a "Failed to Open" ... "Input - Output Error" :(
My school has an smb server, and at first I was overjoyed to be able to connect. However now I suddenly can not connect to my schools server. Please update, I dont want to feel like I wasted 5$ on this app, that has a good idea
