Waste of money.

I needed access to a file on my network. I downloaded the app and was up and running in less than 1 minute. Great job guys!

Meobank(WiFi接続のNAS)と接続して、しかも他のアプリと連携出来ます。 例: Meobankに入れたPDFをFiles ConnectでiPhoneにダウンロードした後、GoodReaderやBookmanでオープンして閲覧。 オススメです。

I use iphone on Japanese Mode. But I could not acces Camera Roll & Photo Library. Maybe Files Connect does not support international Language. I really hope international language will be supported in next time.

The app is great, like Total Commander for iPad. Please fix bugs! Please please! So that besides great, it will be also stable. It crashes e.g. when copying from a SMB share to Dropbox, and then viewing.

Some features that this program claims are there simply do not work. For instance it is impossible to use the network drive, when trying to connect from my mac all I get is a dialog, that no shares are available. Not worth the money in its current state

The app has immediately discovered my hdd plugged in asus n56, dune mediatank, and all of my PC and macs. Now I have access to all of data stored on external drives. The only suggestion is to add time mechine function so the app can fully replace timecapsule with a third party router and hdd.

When you open a file from Safari in Files connect, it displays three windows: 1. Bookmark Failed - Bookmark attachments not found OK 2. Attachment detected - YES or NO 3. Notification attacment saved OK This is boring! Especially the point 1.

Update: After all, developers addressed all issues and FC still the best app in its class! Thanks a lot! ________________ Very attractive functionality but impression was significantly derogated due to unexpected drop outs (IOS 5.0.1). Update (Oct 2012): Since my last claim to developers that bug was fixed. However IOS 6 release had added another one problem - scrolling issue (labels overlap). Hope for bug fix shortly. But anyway at the moment Files Connect is still outstanding utility among similar tools!

Poor resolution for retina. Reject file download from SMB if application in background, so doing large files is really hard.

Sarebbe veramente unottima applicazione, se non fosse che non supporta decentemente il multitasking e molte delle volte in cui si passa ad unaltra app chiude tutto quello che stava facendo e si deve ripartire da capo. For the developer: please add better multitasking support (ability to restart from where you left when you switch app). The app frequently restart from beginning when you switch to another one and then came back to it, its a real time waster and frustrating bug in an app otherwise very good!

With ios5 it no longer work: please fix it.

The best utility I have for: . file management . multiple cloud accounts . connection types (like sftp) The SMB server is so useful I dont even connect the iPad via usb to my Mac. Plus image editing tool (try searching for an image noise filter in the app store!) Works flowlessly on my Ipad2 and IOS 5.x

Whi there is not an option to access administrative shares (c$,d$ etc.)???

There are problems with the layout on iPhone 5 and iOS 6

Used to be a good App, but apparently the project was abandoned by the developer(s). No updates for almost three years. Stay away. By the way, Ill be removing my installation as soon as I finish this review. Bye forever!

Like many others have mentioned, this app was great a few years ago. I fired it up last night though and it was unable to connect to any SFTP servers. I think the reason I switched from FileBrowser to this in 2011 or so is because the former did not support SFTP (or maybe SSH key authentication, I dont remember which exactly). Now that SFTP is broken I have no reason to use it anymore. Deleted. Im now using FileBrowser again, which is still being developed and pretty great. No SSH key authentication, but Ive created some workarounds for that. I think its a shame that Apple allows developers to sell apps like this that no longer function correctly.
